Loyola Launches Centennial Celebration

One hundred years and countless accomplishments have come and gone from Loyola University was chartered in New Orleans in 1912. Since that time, the Jesuit Catholic university is native, five colleges and two professional schools, the education of 5000 students per year with management and support of over 1,100 faculty and staff. For a century, Loyola has not only contributed to the economic health of the largest area of New Orleans, almost 164 million U.S. dollars last year alone, but it also produces men and women who serve as catalysts for change in their communities by illustrating the ethical value judgments education they received in their alma mater.
